About the event

Plants know how to multiply! Three years later, that small plant could be 10 times larger! We’ll subtract, through division, and give you a way to add plants to other locations in your landscape, or share with a neighbor! Following a tour of PPRV’s native garden, Alisa will explain the different types of native perennials and demonstrate how to easily and safely divide them. Take home a newly divided plant!

This is a hands-on workshop, outside. Attendees will work on dividing two or three plants on tables set up under canopies.

Maximum: 20

Bring a snack, beverage, hat, tools, gloves, notebook, camera, and box or bucket for transporting your newly divided plants.
